Coriander seed oil is produced through steam distillation. The process involves harvesting the dried coriander seeds. These seeds are then subjected to high-pressure steam. The steam carries the volatile oil components of the coriander seeds, separating them from the plant matter. This aromatic steam is then cooled, causing the essential oil to condense and separate from the water. Rich in petroselinic acid, it has demonstrated soothing properties for sensitive and reactive skin, helping to reduce redness and irritation. The oil's antioxidant content helps combat free radical damage, contributing to a more youthful complexion. Additionally, coriander seed oil possesses antimicrobial properties, making it beneficial for combating acne-causing bacteria and promoting clearer skin.
