Cedarwood bark oil isproduced through steam distillation. The process involves chipping or sawing cedarwood bark into smaller pieces. These wood chips are then subjected to high-pressure steam. The steam carries the volatile oil compounds from the bark, separating them from the plant matter. This aromatic steam is cooled, causing the essential oil to condense and separate from the water. Its anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe irritated skin conditions like eczema and acne. Known for its astringent qualities, it can help balance oily skin by regulating sebum production. Cedarwood bark oil also possesses antimicrobial properties, making it beneficial for combating acne-causing bacteria. Additionally, it can help to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections and promote a clearer complexion.
